Annual Salary: $100 000 to $120 000, based on experienceMount Stephen is a Montreal boutique hotel located in the heart of downtown, in the prestigious Golden Square Mile district. This luxurious hotel can accommodate up to 400 guests across 85 rooms and 5 prestigious suites. Whether you join the team in room service, concierge services, or another department, the Mount Stephen hotel team will be pleased to welcome you.Reporting to the General Management, the Director of Sales and Marketing is responsible for defining and leading the hotel’s commercial strategy in order to maximize revenue and position the property as a leading reference in the luxury segment. He/She oversees the sales team, ensuring alignment with brand standards and financial objectives.Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement a comprehensive sales and marketing strategy aligned with the hotel’s vision and financial objectives
- Identify new business opportunities (corporate clients, groups, and individual clientele, etc.)
- Analyze market trends, competition, and economic factors to adjust strategies accordingly
- Supervise, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners
- Oversee contract negotiations, RFPs (requests for proposals), and commercial agreements
- Develop and execute marketing plans aimed at increasing brand awareness and market share
- Oversee digital strategies (website, social media, content, digital campaigns)
- Ensure consistency of communications with the hotel’s luxury positioning
- Work closely with revenue management to optimize RevPAR, ADR, and occupancy rate
- Analyze performance and adjust strategies to maximize profitability
- Contribute to forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning
- Work closely with the General Manager and executive committee
- Ensure coordination with operations to align the guest promise with the delivered experience
- Promote a culture of excellence, performance, and innovation
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role within luxury hospitality
- Proven track record of achieving revenue targets in a 5-star environment
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
- Strong knowledge of luxury market trends
- Proficiency in CRM tools, digital marketing, and revenue management systems
- Strong strategic vision and commercial mindset
