**Fully Remote Liability Claims Examiner Opportunity**A well-established Lloyd’s-approved Delegated Claims Administrator is currently seeking an experienced Liability Claims Examiner to support their growing operations. This is an ideal role for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a dynamic and innovative environment.Key Responsibilities:Investigate and manage a portfolio of commercial liability claims, including bodily injury, property damage, and personal injuryInterpret and apply policy wordings across commercial lines (CGL, Property, E&O)Coordinate with adjusters, legal professionals, brokers, and insured partiesAnalyze reports, expert opinions, and documentation to assess liability and exposureEstablish and maintain accurate reserves in alignment with internal protocolsRecommend and negotiate settlements within authority levels; escalate as appropriateDraft professional correspondence to stakeholders, including brokers and third partiesEnsure thorough documentation and timely updates in the claims systemProvide occasional support for claims in Property, Marine, and E&O as requiredContribute to internal initiatives focused on process improvement and knowledge sharingCandidate Requirements:5–10 years of experience in claims handling, with a strong emphasis on liability claimsBackground in Property or E&O claims is considered a strong assetHolds a valid Adjuster Level 1 License in British Columbia (or equivalent eligibility)Proficient in interpreting commercial insurance policy wordingsKnowledge of Canadian insurance regulations and litigation processesExperience in a TPA, MGA, or Lloyd’s market environment preferredStrong written and verbal communication skillsHighly organized with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced settingComfortable with digital tools and paperless claims systemsCompensation & Benefits:Competitive salary: $80,000 – $110,000Benefits package includes:Dental and extended health coveragePaid time offRRSP matching
