Partner Level Patent Agent, Electrical - Permanent - 18259About the OpportunityOur client, a prominent boutique IP Litigation firm, is currently looking to expand its team and services by adding a senior level registered Patent Agent with a background in electrical engineering, computer sciences or software engineering. A book of business is required and Patent Agents working with the senior will also be considered. This opportunity provides a senior or Partner level Patent Agent the ability to continue servicing their clients and grow their practice in a positive, collegial and supportive environment with a very attractive and flexible compensation model.Duties include but are not limited to:

Originating drafting, legal opinions, patent prosecution and patent office proceedings
Developing and implementing client's IP strategies
Providing litigation support as needed
Continued business development efforts

About YouThe successful candidate will have the following:

An advanced degree in either electrical engineering, computer sciences or software engineering
Be a registered Canadian Patent Agent
A minimum of 5 years experience
Possess an existing book of business
Excellent drafting skills
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Members of an Agent's team will be considered
