This role bridges the gap between business strategy and people operations, ensuring talent alignment across global functions. Additionally, this position acts as a lead for Global HR Reporting, leveraging AI and advanced data visualization to provide actionable insights into site and functional people metrics.Detailed DescriptionPerforms tasks such as, but not limited to, the following:
- Act as the dedicated HR lead for global commodity leaders, providing counsel on organizational design/change, workforce planning, and talent alignment.
- Ensure HR strategies are consistent across diverse geographical commodity teams while respecting local labor nuances.
- Provides advice, counsel, direction and training to the management team and managers on any business issue that has employee or organizational impact on company personnel practices, procedures, and initiatives.
- Drive performance management and provide executive coaching to leaders on team dynamics and corrective actions.
- Ensures consistent application of policies and procedures for recruiting, rewarding, retaining, recognizing and developing employees.
- Provides employee relations consultation services to management and employees.
- Own the development and maintenance of global HR dashboards, tracking key metrics (turnover, headcount, DEI, labor costs) for both sites and functions.
- Leverage AI tools to perform predictive analytics, identifying trends in talent retention and recruitment efficiency.
- Translate complex data sets into "storytelling" reports for executive leadership, providing recommendations based on data-driven insights.
- Conduct ongoing skill gap assessments within the Commodity Management groups to ensure a robust pipeline of high-caliber talent.
- Conducts internal investigations of acts of employee misconduct including interviewing, gathering evidence, consulting legal counsel, making recommendations and documenting findings.
- Lead the deployment of corporate initiatives (Compensation & Benefits, Employee Engagement Surveys, Values Awareness) across the assigned client groups.
- In-depth knowledge of government regulations.
- Extensive knowledge of labor laws and experience in Labor Relations
- Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of internal customers.
- Ability to evaluate multiple highly detailed tasks, determine priorities and organize work in a manner that allows for timely completion of projects.
- Ability to manage sensitive employee information in a confidential manner.
- Ability to navigate and influence within a matrixed, global environment across different time zones and cultures.
- Intermediate proficiency in Excel. Competent in MS Word and Power Point. Experience utilizing AI for predictive HR modeling is highly preferred.
- Deep experience with HRIS systems (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors) and data architecture.
- Strong ability to "translate" technical data into clear, persuasive business language for non-HR leaders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority projects, from global staffing strategies to automated reporting upgrades.
- Standard office environment with extended periods of sustained visual concentration on data and digital dashboards.
- Frequent use of computer applications and digital communication tools to manage a global client base.
- Ability to travel occasionally to global sites
