Must have experience delivering power and utility projects in a construction, mining or O & G settingWe’re looking for an Project Delivery Lead to join a leader in the power and engineered utility solutions industry.This role plays a key part in overseeing project execution at the site level including installation, commissioning, and demobilization. You’ll coordinate internal teams and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of complex technical projects across North America.Project Delivery Lead Iresponsibilities:
• Manage daily site operations for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project plans and timelines
• Act as the on-the-ground point of contact for client communication, technical coordination, and issue resolution
• Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor risk areas and recommend adjustments as needed
• Confirm all work permits and safety documentation are complete and active before work begins
• Lead on-site meetings to coordinate multiple workstreams and maintain progress
• Ensure proper execution of installation standards, testing protocols, and commissioning checklists
• Proactively address safety, quality, and performance concerns by escalating them to the appropriate channels
• Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize scheduling and resource allocation
• Support billing and documentation processes by liaising with internal finance and administration teams
• Maintain a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycleThe successful candidate has:
• A degree in a construction related field or equivalent experience, with 7–10 years of project leadership in a technical or industrial setting
• PMP designation and experience with mechanical/electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, generators, switchgear)
• Exposure to mechanical or electrical systems such as HVAC, generators, or temporary power solutions
• Experience working with ERP platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
• Confidence in interpreting technical documentation such as P&IDs and site schematics
• Ability to manage multiple crews and vendors on active job sites
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
• A proactive approach to managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities
• Proven ability to work hands-on in the field while maintaining a strategic view of project goals
