Must have experience delivering power and utility projects in a construction, mining or O & G settingWeâre looking for an Project Delivery Lead to join a leader in the power and engineered utility solutions industry.This role plays a key part in overseeing project execution at the site level including installation, commissioning, and demobilization. Youâll coordinate internal teams and contractors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality delivery of complex technical projects across North America.Project Delivery Lead Iresponsibilities:
Manage daily site operations for assigned projects, ensuring alignment with project plans and timelines
Act as the on-the-ground point of contact for client communication, technical coordination, and issue resolution
Work closely with the Project Manager to monitor risk areas and recommend adjustments as needed
Confirm all work permits and safety documentation are complete and active before work begins
Lead on-site meetings to coordinate multiple workstreams and maintain progress
Ensure proper execution of installation standards, testing protocols, and commissioning checklists
Proactively address safety, quality, and performance concerns by escalating them to the appropriate channels
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to optimize scheduling and resource allocation
Support billing and documentation processes by liaising with internal finance and administration teams
Maintain a strong focus on safety and environmental compliance throughout the project lifecycle
The successful candidate has:
A degree in a construction related field or equivalent experience, with 7â10 years of project leadership in a technical or industrial setting
PMP designation and experience with mechanical/electrical systems (e.g., HVAC, generators, switchgear)
Exposure to mechanical or electrical systems such as HVAC, generators, or temporary power solutions
Experience working with ERP platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
Confidence in interpreting technical documentation such as P&IDs and site schematics
Ability to manage multiple crews and vendors on active job sites
Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving skills
A proactive approach to managing tight deadlines and shifting priorities
Proven ability to work hands-on in the field while maintaining a strategic view of project goals
