Our Montreal-based client is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Transportation Management (TM) Functional Expert contractor to start immediately and will run until January 31st, 2026, with a strong possibility for a further extension. The ideal should have 8 + years of experience and deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA for supporting transportation management processes. The role involves the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP TM modules integrated with S/4HANA, ensuring business requirements are translated into effective SAP solutions. This will be a fully remote work setting.Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for SAP TM functional design, configuration, and deployment in S/4HANA landscapes.
  • Gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into SAP TM solutions.
  • Conduct business requirements gathering sessions, prepare functional specifications, and collaborate with ABAP/technical teams.
  • Configure Freight order management, planning & execution, freight settlement, and charge calculation.
  • Integrate SAP TM with S/4HANA modules (SD, MM, EWM, FI/CO) and external systems.
  • Support end-to-end transportation processes including LBN carrier collaboration and logistics execution.
  • Provide post-implementation support, issue resolution, and continuous improvements.
  • SAP TM certification is a nice to have.
  • More than 10 years of relevant SAP TM experience with LBN.
  • Strong expertise in SAP TM embedded in S/4HANA.
  • Hands-on expert experience with TM order management, integration, Freight planning, Tendering, execution, freight costing, and settlement.
  • Integration knowledge with SAP SD, MM, EWM, FI/CO, and third-party logistics solutions.
  • Experience in at least 2 full-cycle SAP TM implementations (preferably on S/4HANA).
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
