  • Hardware and software design and requirements analysis
  • Review and analyze vendor data
  • Participating in design and system architecture reviews.
What you bring to the role
  • Pursuing a degree in System/Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering/Science or related field
  • Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio
  • Technical mindset to breakdown systems into logical units
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex systems and their components
  • Aptitude for working well in teams and solving challenging problems in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently
  • Well organized, capable of planning, scheduling and prioritizing work
  • Available for four (4) months, starting January 2026.
Additional skills desired for the role
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering, Reliability, Maintainability and Availability (RMA) and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA)
  • Knowledge of Unified Modelling Language (UML)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft (MS) Office, Visio, SharePoint, Dynamic Object-Oriented Requirements System (DOORS®), Windchill Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
  • Results-Oriented Self-Starter Attitude.

Language Requirements in QuebecKnowledge of the English language is required for this role as the position described in this posting requires the candidate to communicate every day with a virtual team outside Quebec as well as communicate with different members of the organization, clients and suppliers located outside of Canada.
