  • Learn the Lockheed Martin Canada Inc. (Lockheed Martin) Risk Policy
  • Understand the Risk Management Process and its application in the Canadian Surface Combatant (CSC) Program
  • Learn to use the Risk and Opportunity Assessment Database for Success (ROADS) tool
  • Working with risk owners, conduct a comprehensive exploration and examination of options for mitigating actions
  • Working with risk owners, select the most appropriate mitigating actions for each risk
  • Consult with planners to incorporate risk plan into the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)
  • Communicate risk management plan to others as required
  • Document and evaluate outcomes of risk management plans
  • Internalize the value of risk management
  • Articulate the value of risk management
  • Participate in stakeholder meetings.
What you bring to the role
  • Current student in an engineering or business field
  • Aptitude for working well in teams
  • Proficient with Microsoft (MS) Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • A keen interest in Risk Management or Project Management
  • Available for four (4) months starting January 2026
  • Eligible for North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secret clearance in a timely manner.
Additional skills desired for the role
  • Active security clearance will be considered an asset
  • Previous experience working in the marine industry an asset.

Language Requirements in QuebecKnowledge of the English language is required for this role as the position described in this posting requires the candidate to communicate every day with a virtual team outside Quebec as well as communicate with different members of the organization, clients and suppliers located outside of Canada. For engineering positions, the candidate must also be able to read or modify technical documents from our main clients and write technical documents for these same clients.Security requirement for this role
