
Consultant, Consulting Services - Finance

- Propose, plan and deliver consulting engagements across all service lines and niches in the private, public, not-for-profit and Indigenous sectors
- Execute business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program review, program re-deigns, financial analysis and other forms of management consulting
- Analyze financial statements and develop forward-looking financial projections, operating budgets and capital budgets.
- Develop project plans and coordinate project logistics with clients and other stakeholders
- Identify key theoretical issues in engagements, formulating appropriate empirical strategies, understanding complex datasets and synthesizing relevant academic literature
- Conduct detailed research and data collection, interviews, focus groups and surveys
- Perform in-depth quantitative and qualitative analysis and consolidate results to provide meaningful conclusions and recommendations
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure client needs are met and relationships grow and develop
- Design and develop high-quality deliverables including proposals, engagement letters, reports, presentations and other correspondence
- Work collaboratively with the client engagement team
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business (finance or accounting preferred) or other related field
- Possession of, or active progress towards, a CPA designation or other financial management certification is considered an asset
- 2 to 3 years of consulting experience considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial analysis skills using Microsoft Excel
