- A degree in civil or environmental engineering with a minimum of 12 years of relevant industry experience
- Registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with Engineers and Geoscientists BC
- Extensive experience in civil/municipal consulting engineering, specifically in water resources
- Proven ability to lead the design and delivery of water resources projects (e.g., urban drainage, stormwater management, flood assessments, erosion protection, channel design)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage scope, schedule, and budget
- Demonstrated capability in preparing and reviewing technical documentation (e.g., drawings, reports, specifications)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluent in English and legally eligible to work in Canada
- Valid driver's license and access to a personal or shared vehicle
- Experience supervising and mentoring junior engineers and technologists
- Interest in business development, strategic planning, and expanding client relationships
- Familiarity with modelling software such as HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, SWMM, InfoWorks ICM, or similar tools
- Previous experience contributing to organizational strategy and decision-making in a consultancy setting
- Desire to pursue equity ownership in a growing firm
- Lead multidisciplinary water resources projects from conceptual design through to implementation
- Coordinate technical teams and review deliverables to ensure high-quality outcomes
- Maintain close communication with clients to manage expectations and project objectives
- Track and report on project performance metrics, ensuring alignment with budget and schedule
- Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing and uphold best practices across projects
- Support the development of strategic initiatives and proposals for new business
- Actively participate in mentoring and team development efforts
