We’re looking for a Construction Manager in the residential and mixed-use development industry.Our client is an established and fast-growing real estate development firm based in Winnipeg. With multiple residential and commercial projects in the pipeline, they are seeking a skilled and experienced Construction Manager to lead on-site operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and to the highest standard. This is a key role within a company poised for significant growth.Construction Manager responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day operations across active construction sites
Manage subcontractors, trades, suppliers, and site personnel
Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and progress reports
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and quality standards
Conduct regular site inspections and enforce health and safety protocols
Review blueprints and technical documents to guide construction execution
Identify and resolve delays or issues impacting timelines or budgets
Coordinate with internal departments to align construction with design and financial goals
Monitor project budgets and resource allocation
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with permit and inspection processes
Recruit, train, and lead site supervisors and junior staff
The successful candidate has:
5+ years of experience in a site supervisor role, ideally within residential or mixed-use development
Strong leadership and organizational abilities with a proven track record of managing teams and timelines
In-depth knowledge of Manitoba construction standards, codes, and permitting processes
Proficiency in construction management software
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Valid Class 5 Driver’s License and access to a reliable vehicle
Compensation and benefits:
The discussed salary range is $85,000 – $110,000, depending on experience
Candidates with additional experience and higher compensation expectations may also be considered
