- Work closely with the Preconstruction team to develop and refine project budgets, ensuring accurate cost analysis.
- Oversee subcontractor management, including scope reviews, contract execution, and coordination of project deliverables.
- Manage project timelines, milestones, and close-out checklists to maintain efficiency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Project budgets of $25 million average, a line up of work awaits - no lay-offs.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for suppliers and key personnel, ensuring timely delivery of materials, equipment, and resources.
- Establish performance standards and benchmarks for project success, tracking progress against key metrics.
- Lead change management efforts, including pricing, tracking, and negotiating project scope adjustments with clients.
- Define project team roles, facilitate meetings, and ensure clear communication across all stakeholders.
- Apply expertise in construction planning, scheduling, staffing, and cost control to optimize project execution.
- Review contract documents to align deliverables with budget and timeline expectations.
- Provide executive-level project updates, detailing progress, risks, and strategic recommendations.
- Collaborate with site superintendents to monitor on-site activities, ensuring projects remain on schedule and within budget.
- Proactively address project risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee project safety, ensuring compliance with Occupational Health and Safety regulations, client standards, and government requirements.
- Conduct incident reviews and implement continuous improvement measures for workplace safety and quality control.
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry or a related field.
- Portfolio of large construction projects
- A degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a relevant discipline (CET preferred).
- PMP or CAPM certification (preferred but not required).
- Proven track record managing commercial building projects from initiation to completion.
- Strong understanding of project management principles
- Proficiency in MS Office, On-Screen Takeoff, and Bluebeam (preferred).
