Aplin has partnered with a Winnipeg-based company to hire a Construction Project Coordinator. The Construction Project Coordinator will provide oversight and project flo for all phases of the build process from excavation to the pre-possession. This includes making sure the site is safe, coordinating sub-trades and materials to the site, ensuring that specifications are being followed and work is being done at the required quality levels, and proceeding as per the production schedule.Perks and Benefits:

Responsibilities:
  • Ensure the construction site is safe, clean, and organized and that all sub-trades are following applicable Safety & Health procedures by the Manitoba Safety & Health Act
  • Provide direction to sub-trades as required to get work done as per the production schedule
  • Coordinate materials to the site
  • Inspections completed daily whether it is to follow up on work done or a framing inspection with framing sub-trade or ensuring the site is ready for City Inspection
  • Ensure all work is being done as per drawings and specifications at the required quality levels
  • Ensure that the work done by sub-trades is completed as per scheduled dates and provide weekly updates to the Construction Manager
Qualifications:
  • Post-secondary in construction-related field preferred but not required
  • Experience and exposure dealing with construction trades on site
  • Strong planning and organizational skills and effective time management
  • The ability to communicate effectively and problem-solve
  • Must have great computer skills
