
Human Resources Generalist

- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with organizational objectives.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to management and employees, addressing concerns, grievances, and conflicts.
- Lead the recruitment and selection process, including interviews, onboarding, and employee transitions.
- Draft, execute, and maintain employment contracts and organizational charts.
- Provide confidential counseling and conduct exit interviews, analyzing data to support retention strategies.
- Oversee payroll and benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including appraisals, coaching, and disciplinary actions.
- Maintain compliance with provincial and federal labour regulations, including health and safety standards.
- Develop training programs, team-building initiatives, and leadership coaching.
- Foster an inclusive and respectful workplace culture that promotes employee engagement.
- Degree in Human Resources or related field.
- 3-5 years of proven experience in a multi-functional HR role.
- CPHR designation (completed or in progress).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to influence across all levels.
- Solid knowledge of labour law and HR best practices.
- Proficiency with HR systems, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution abilities.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Experience developing HR policies, training programs, and employee development initiatives.
- Ability to multi-task and work effectively under pressure.
- Eligibility for Security Clearance; experience in GPP/GMP-regulated environments is an asset.
