- Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.

- Policy Guidance: Offer interpretation and guidance on HR policies, legislation, and collective agreements.
- Employee Support: Assist with employee issues and provide investigation support as needed.
- HR Initiatives: Lead the planning, delivery, and facilitation of key HR initiatives.
- Education: Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, business or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in an HR Business Partner, generalist or specialist role in a unionized environment.
- Certifications: CPHR would be considered an asset.
- Critical Thinking: Analytical skills with a focus on collaboration and achieving 'win-win' outcomes.
- Communication & Influence: Exceptional communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Facilitation Skills: Ability to facilitate training sessions and meetings effectively.
- Labour Relations Expertise: Knowledge and experience in labor relations and workplace investigations
