  • Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with company objectives and support ongoing growth
  • Coordinate recruitment efforts including job postings, candidate screening, interview scheduling, and onboarding activities
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers on HR-related inquiries, policies, and procedures
  • Assist with the administration of compensation, benefits, and performance management processes
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring data integrity in HRIS and payroll systems
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, recognition programs, and internal communications
  • Coordinate training and development activities, tracking employee progress and program participation
  • Ensure compliance with Alberta employment standards, health and safety regulations, and company guidelines
  • Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives aimed at building scalable HR infrastructure
  • Provide general administrative support to the HR department and assist with reporting, audits, and other tasks as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in a human resources role, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment
  • Working knowledge of Alberta employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative, team-focused approach
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS or payroll systems
  • CPHR designation or working toward certification is considered an asset
  • Self-starter with a proactive mindset and eagerness to learn and grow in the HR field
