
Associate Brand Manager - (Contract) Luxury

- Develop growth plans, & commercial toolkits with coaching from senior brand manager
- Analyze key business metrics - Monthly review and recommendations on brand P&Ls, market share performance, competitive activity and brand health metrics
- Brief & work with agency partners to execute paid media campaigns, consumer sampling programs, experiential, public relations and unique events.
- Work with agency partner to manage owned social media channels for Courvoisier Cognac
- Manage brand budgets using SAP & Excel: purchase orders, vendor invoices and budget reporting with accuracy and in a timely fashion
- Lead Canadian tactical approvals for cross functional projects via Planisware
- Manage and coordinate all national point of sale creative, POS tools and program development both retail and on premise
- Work closely with provincial sales teams and field marketing to ensure flawless activation at the local level
- Share brand activities and provoke ideas & feedback from business stakeholders with frequent & consistent email/Yammer/conference call communications
- Share program or performance results and key learnings from consumer research, feedback from sales, finance and agency partners
- Work with field marketing managers to regionalize national brand programming and deliver custom regional programs where applicable
- Work with Global brand and supply chain teams to confirm volume forecasts and allocations for limited edition Single Malt, Irish or Cognac releases
- Ensure all activity meets national regulatory, legal and Suntory Global Spirits marketing codes
- Diploma or Degree in Business or Marketing preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years marketing experience
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple deadlines & stakeholders
- Willingness to learn categories with unique pricing & regulatory guidelines, distribution at retail and on-premise
- Must be able to work collaboratively with cross functional departments, various agency partners and supporting customers
- Experience managing budgets
- Compelling communication & leadership skills that motivate stakeholders to support complicated, cross functional projects
- Experience managing cross-continental projects an asset
- Approx. 10% Travel - expected in field with sales teams, travel to regional offices across Canada, and travel to the UK may be required.
