Brief Description:Our employer is a leading Canadian distributor of laboratory products, instruments, reagents and consumables. They represent numerous industry leading suppliers exclusively, allowing them to provide scientific solutions for all areas of research. They are expanding our digital presence and looking for a creative and results-driven person who can both design visuals and actively grow our social media channels.Job Function:Graphic Design
- Create product graphics, banners, brochures, flyers, and promotional materials
- Design LinkedIn posts, ads, infographics, and carousel posts
- Prepare trade-show materials (booth graphics, handouts, email banners)
- Maintain consistent brand identity across website and social platforms
- Edit product images and supplier media into branded visuals
- Leverage AI-powered design and content tools to create visually compelling graphics and social media campaigns
- Utilize AI tools/platforms to streamline content creation, automate repetitive tasks, and optimize campaign performance
- Manage company social media needs (primarily LinkedIn, also YouTube & others)
- Help plan and execute monthly content calendar
- Write captions and educational posts about scientific products
- Post regularly and engage with comments and messages
- Research competitors and industry trends
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, digital content creation, or related fields
- Strong graphic design skills (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Canva, or similar)
- Experience managing business social media accounts
- A background in Life Sciences is considered an asset, but not mandatory.
- Ability to write clear and professional English content
- Understanding of branding and visual consistency
- Ability to research and learn technical products
- Experience with B2B marketing
- Experience with LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads
- Knowledge of scientific/medical/lab industry
- Basic video editing (short videos or reels)
- Experience with email marketing (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.)
- Creative thinker (not just a template poster)
- Self-starter who suggests ideas
- Organized and reliable
