
Senior Commissioning Specialist

- Lead the delivery of commissioning and related services for new building construction projects of varying types, sizes, and complexities.
- Support the commissioning team in generation of technical documents including commissioning plan, specifications to suite project requirement.
- Direct and document commissioning and related testing activities.
- Organize project commissioning meetings and provide technical guidance to the project stakeholders.
- Conducting test studies on equipment and processes to assess compliance with requirements.
- Analysis of test data and collection of samples, where required.
- Evaluate the installation and functional performance of building systems to optimize efficiency.
- Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot building systems during commissioning phases.
- Provide recommendations on equipment/process for operational readiness.
- Collaborate effectively with multi-disciplinary project teams.
- Contribute to refining internal processes and documentation.
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and secure new projects.
- Provide general support to the Commissiong, Compliance, Testing & Verification team to meet department goals and objectives.
- Adhere to rules and procedures that ensure health, safety & environment as well as prevention of workplace incidents. Furthermore, in a context of continuous improvement, be proactive in improving health, safety & environment rules and procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related Science program.
- Minimum of 8 years relevant work experience in commissioning.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong attention to detail regarding documentation.
- Knowledge and experience with automated/computerized systems is an asset.
- Proficient in English (oral/written), French knowledge (an asset).
- Well organized, self-motivated, and able to work both independently and within a team environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Flexible with the proven ability to prioritize and work to deadlines.
- Proficient in the use of MS Office Suite.
- Must be mobile within the Greater Toronto Area.
