This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to enhance their career through diverse and challenging projects while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.This role is ideal for someone who is eager to play a key role on impactful projects, interact directly with clients and contractors, and contribute to expanding our presence in the Grande Prairie area. Learn more about the role ! Your Contribution:Your main responsibilities
  • Perform general project duties including preparing cost estimates, design drawings, specifications, and contract documents, under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or Technologist
  • Develop, prepare, and review civil engineering design drawings, coordinating with the engineering Design Team
  • Conduct site inspections and materials testing as required
  • Manage construction contracts and liaise with clients and contractors
  • Coordinate designs and construction inspections with multiple disciplines
Typical Projects:
  • Replacement and upgrade of underground water, sewer, and stormwater infrastructure
  • Development of water treatment and pumping facilities
  • Wastewater collection, pumping, and treatment facilities
  • Infrastructure assessments and studies
  • Road Rehabilitation
Your Profile:What makes you unique
  • Diploma in Civil Engineering Technology from an accredited institution
  • Member or eligibility for membership in ASET
  • 3-5 years of municipal civil engineering experience, including but not limited to:
  • (Water Distribution Systems, Wastewater Collection Systems, Stormwater Management Systems, Site Grading, Transportation)
  • Demonstrated knowledge of general construction methods
  • Strong presentation, verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, reliable, and detail-oriented
  • Proficiency with Civil3D software
