Adecco is currently hiring a full-time experienced Administrative Assistant for one of our clients in Hamilton, ON. This role is ideal for an experienced administrative professional who demonstrates exceptional accuracy, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently on complex tasks while supporting smooth office operations.You will provide high-level secretarial and administrative support, handle confidential information with discretion, and coordinate effectively across departments while interacting professionally with client's and customers.Pay Rate: $Location: Hamilton, ONShift: Mondays to Fridays | 8:30am to 4:30pmJob type: Temporary | Full-timeVacancy Status: This posting is for an existing vacancy.Here's why you should apply:Paid weekly accurate and on timeStrong health and safety programsMedical and dental benefits once qualifiedFree training programsNew and quicker onboarding processResponsibilities:Key ResponsibilitiesProvide senior-level secretarial support, including high-volume electronic transcription with exceptional accuracy and speedPrepare written correspondence, reports, agendas, and other documentation with a high level of precisionDemonstrate proficiency in Business English and modern office practices and proceduresWork effectively in a computerized office environment using:Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and TeamseScribe and PeopleSoftLiaise professionally with the public, external agencies, and internal departmentsExercise initiative and carry out instructions independently, with minimal supervisionMaintain routine financial records and support basic accounting activities when requiredMonitor accounts, calculate amounts, and prepare/process invoices and accounts payable (asset)Coordinate, assign, and review administrative work and resolve work-related issues as they ariseWork independently on complex projects while coordinating activities across the organization to ensure effective communication and information flowUphold confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of the roleQualifications and Skills:High school diploma or equivalent requiredAssociate's degree or post-secondary coursework in Business Administration or a related field is preferredSignificant experience in a senior secretarial or administrative rolePrevious experience in a financial or accounting office environment is preferredExceptional written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational, time-management, and multitasking abilitiesProven attention to detail and accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)Familiarity with office systems, databases, and standard office equipmentBasic knowledge of general accounting principles (asset)Ability to work independently and coordinate work across departmentsStrong problem-solving skills with sound judgmentHigh level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive informationAdaptable and willing to learn new systems and processes in a fast-paced environmentAccuracy and attention to detailInitiative and accountabilityProfessional communicationOrganizational effectivenessConfidentiality and integrityCollaboration and coordinationMust be legally eligible to work, and reside in CanadaAre you interested in this position?
