The OpportunityThe Faculty of Commerce & Business Administration (CBA) is proud to have achieved accreditation through the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP) - a significant milestone that reflects our commitment to excellence in business education. Maintaining this accreditation is a rigorous, ongoing process that requires dedicated leadership, collaboration, and a deep understanding of quality assurance standards.We are seeking a current faculty member to serve as the ACBSP Accreditation & Continuous Improvement Coordinator, a pivotal role focused on sustaining and enhancing our accreditation status through structured, evidence-based reporting and continuous quality improvement. This position will have up to two (2) sections per time release per academic year. WHAT IT TAKESResponsibilities:
  • QA Report Coordination: Lead the preparation and submission of the ACBSP QA Report, ensuring alignment with all six standards. This includes gathering and analyzing data collected from at least 3 departments who are conducting surveys every 2 years gain the minimum 3 CBA data points for the Current Student, Alumni, and Faculty Surveys to identify trends in student learning outcomes.
  • Faculty Engagement: Communicate with faculty each semester to ensure timely collection of course-level outcome data. To ensure faculty members are recording the required outcomes, at the beginning of each semester, the ACBSP Continuous Improvement Coordinator notifies faculty the outcomes being monitored and provide a link to a tracking spreadsheet where results can be added. They will follow-up at the semester's end with those who haven't submitted results. Provide tools and reminders to support accurate reporting.\
  • Data Management: Populate annual review templates with Tableau program data and ACBSP-required learning outcomes. Coordinate with Institutional Research to download and distribute Peregrine Global Assessment results by key topics and send them to relevant departments.
  • Stakeholder Feedback: Ensure compliance with ACBSP's stakeholder feedback requirements by coordinating student, alumni, and faculty surveys. Provide CBA departments with key discussion points and collaborate to interpret results and facilitate meaningful discussions.
  • Comprehensive Review Support: Assist departments in aligning their comprehensive reviews with ACBSP standards. Ensure that reviews serve both internal quality assurance and external accreditation needs.
  • Reporting & Presentation: Prepare summaries and presentations of accreditation-related data to support continuous improvement discussions at both the departmental and faculty-wide level.
Qualifications:
  • Current regular CBA faculty member.
  • Strong understanding of ACBSP standards and continuous improvement principles.
  • Familiarity with CBA programs and learning outcomes.
  • Experience with data interpretation, reporting, and faculty coordination.
  • Demonstrated ability to support both Annual and Comprehensive Review processes.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
