- Develop and implement a comprehensive annual fund development plan aligned with organizational goals.
- Set and achieve measurable fundraising targets in collaboration with the Director of Development.
- Identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward a significant pool of prospects and donors, including individuals, corporations and foundations up to the mid-level gift range of $10,000.
- Develop engagement strategies to cultivate and steward relationships through a moves management process that encourages increased giving and multi-year commitments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with donors through regular communication, appreciation events, and impact reporting.
- Develop personalized stewardship plans to retain and upgrade donors.
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive donor records in CRM/database (Raiser's Edge NXT).
- Collaborate to design, write, and distribute recognition through various mediums and other stewardship.
- In collaboration with the Director of Development, plan, coordinate, and execute fundraising and cultivation & stewardship events and campaigns in support of annual appeals, giving days, donor recognition, and community building events.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications to develop promotional materials and messaging.
- Work closely with the Director of Development, members of Development team, faculty, volunteers, alums to support fundraising goals.
- Provide support and guidance to staff and volunteers involved in fundraising.
- Report regularly on fundraising progress and metrics.
- Post-secondary education in nonprofit management, communications, business, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 5 years of professional fundraising experience, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding fundraising goals.
- Demonstrated ability to build and sustain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Adept at working across cultures and building trust within diverse communities.
- Proven success writing comprehensive funding proposals that engage audiences from intellectual and emotional standpoints.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills with a creative and innovative approach to donor engagement.
- Experience with donor relationship management software (e.g., Raiser's Edge NXT).
- Highly organized with attention to detail and able to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Ability to work autonomously and problem solve while also collaborating and managing up.

- Salary range of $75,000 - $90,000 per year.
