- Solve complex technical problems using formal techniques to evaluate systems, equipment and failures;
- Maximize equipment availability, reliability, and performance through effective problem solving and preventative maintenance practices;
- Develop and refine asset-specific strategies to improve equipment health and prevent or eliminate equipment failure;
- Work closely with maintenance personnel in the field to support daily maintenance activities and identify continuous improvement opportunities;
- Provide technical support for new or modified site equipment, process changes, and drawings;
- Compile data and prepare technical reports or coordinate technical reporting as required for regulatory submission;
- Support site capital and expense projects, ensuring project deliverables are met in the form of scope, schedule, and budget.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering;
- Four to eight years of relevant industry experience;
- Professional Engineer (P. Eng) designation;
- Eligible for registration with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Saskatchewan (APEGS);
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy;
- Demonstrated communication and problem-solving skills;
- Work a rotational schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical or industrial engineering;
- Exposure to predictive maintenance techniques and technologies;
- Experience in a mining/milling environment;
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems; SAP experience preferred;
- Experience with planning and scheduling activities;
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Salary Range: $124,880 - $156,100Safety Sensitive SitePreference will be given to Residents of Saskatchewan's North (RSN).The Cigar Lake operation is located in northern Saskatchewan and operates on a two week on/two week off rotational schedule. Employees commute to the site by aircraft from designated locations in Saskatchewan.The physical and psychological safety of our employees is a top priority at Cameco.
