SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Senior Engineer, Operations Maintenance provides experienced engineering expertise, project leadership and engineering services to support the Corporation’s reliability center maintenance services and initiatives. This involves applying sound maintenance engineering and industry principles, standards, practices, and technology, as well as identifying and recommending effective business solutions to support improved asset reliability and asset lifecycle management of mechanical and electrical equipment and systems.Position DetailsNon-union. This position is permanent full time.Key AccountabilitiesDevelop, lead, and optimize the delivery of centralized operational maintenance programs, standards, and specifications, utilizing internal and third-party resourcing to keep programs on time and budget.Lead the strategy, implementation, and adherence of SaskEnergy’s enterprise asset management standards and software.Establish and monitor key performance indicators and data driven insights to track and improve maintenance performance.Lead strategic initiatives (mechanical, electrical, measurement maintenance) of a multidisciplinary or complex nature that improve Operational work processes and support positive change management and continuous improvement.Lead execution and continuous improvement of established maintenance best practices.Evaluate and implement advanced technologies to improve operations through reduced costs or enhancements to business processes.Provide leadership to internal staff and external contractors to ensure safe and reliable operating practices and compliance with standards and regulatory requirements.Work closely with other departments at SaskEnergy to support maintenance, reliability, and enterprise asset management objectives.Other related duties as assigned.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesDegree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electronic, Metallurgical, Chemical, Environment, or Petroleum preferred).Professional Engineer Designation registered to practice in Saskatchewan.Eight (8) years of related experience and exposure to natural gas industry practices.Strong working knowledge and understanding of natural gas industry practices and industry standards.Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.A suitable combination of relevant education and experience may also be considered.Additional InformationTravel, including overnight stays away from bid headquarters, is required on occasion.A Class 5 Driver’s License is required.The job is safety sensitive, and as such, is subject to the provisions of the Drug and Alcohol Policy (Pre-Employment or Pre-Placement for Safety Sensitive Positions).Application InstructionsPlease apply online with your cover letter and resume outlining your qualifications.For more information on this position, please contact Human Resources at 306-777-9091.Closing DateApril 28, 2026Salary Range$92,716 - $132,958#LI-POST
