Our valued client, an established and award-winning brokerage in Edmonton, AB, is looking to add a motivated and detail-oriented Sr. Transportation Claims Adjuster to their expanding team. Known for their dynamic culture and strong industry presence since 2009, they’ve built a reputation for excellence in customer service and employee satisfaction.What You’ll Be Doing:
- Support the investigation and resolution of auto and cargo claims
- Conduct interviews with insured parties, claimants, and witnesses
- Assess damage on-site and inspect relevant equipment
- Coordinate with external vendors and manage salvage processes
- Maintain detailed and accurate claim documentation
- Represent the company at industry and networking events as needed
- Strengthen client relationships through file reviews and ongoing communication
- Adhere to established workflows and manage claims efficiently
- Level 1 independent adjusting license (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid Class 5 driver’s license
- High school diploma
- Commissioner of Oaths (or willingness to obtain)
- Solid understanding of insurance and transportation-related claims
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Comfortable working remotely or in a hybrid office environment
- Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
- Professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude
- Physically able to inspect claims (climbing/lifting up to 40 lbs. as needed)
- Experience with Mitchell or similar adjusting/estimating platforms
- Familiarity with EPIC or other industry software
