The Pharmacy Research Coordinator and Special Access Program Support reports to the Manager of Pharmacy Research Support and is responsible for providing and supporting the activities associated with the provision of services needed to perform the pharmacy component for Hamilton Health Sciences clinical trials and procuring and monitoring SAP drug supply, for assisting in the operationalization and implementation of all HHS research initiatives, for invoicing and ensuring payments are received for costs associated for research support services.Qualifications
  • Completion of a college level Pharmacy Technician Program required (accredited college level Pharmacy Technician Program preferred)
  • Registration with the Ontario College of Pharmacists as a Pharmacy Technician (RPhT)
  • Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, detail oriented, communication, teamwork, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Strong computer skills
  • Proven ability to follow specific instructions with a high degree of accuracy
  • Demonstrated initiative and judgment appropriate for the role. Self-directed in seeking out pharmacy issues within the healthcare team
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
  • Proven ability to perform the physical requirements of the position which may include standing for extended periods of time, moderate lifting and pushing carts
