Candidates must reside within 80km of Brossard, Québec, Canada. As part of a multidisciplinary development team, the senior developer will participate in the design and development of personalized customer projects allowing the integration of data from different sources (GIS, CIS, AMI, SCADA, PI) with the objective to create a detailed digital model of the electrical network in order to perform advanced engineering simulations. Designs, builds, and maintains efficient, reusable, and reliable code. Prepares detailed software verification test plans. Participates in the technical support of the solutions developed aiming to provide an unsurpassed customer experience. Coordinates all stages of the development cycle in collaboration with the project manager. Participates in design workshops and project deployment activities both locally and at customer sites. Evaluates new technologies and development tools. Writes technical documentation. Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or equivalent from an accredited institution. Minimum of 7 years of experience in C# and/or C++ programming. Minimum of 7 years of experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio development environment. Fluency in English and French (working proficiency). Fluency in French and English is required for this position to communicate with colleagues, customers, and partners located inside and outside of Quebec, as well as to understand technical documentation in the field of our industry. Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without corporate sponsorship now or in the future. Candidates must live within an 80-kilometer radius of the Brossard facility. Knowledge of geographical information systems (ESRI, Intergraph, Smallworld).
