- Work collaboratively as part of a global team of external and internal communicators and marketeers working on both regional and global projects where required.
- Draft, revise, edit and produce a variety of communication tools intended for various external audiences (e.g. key messages, press releases, social media posts, speeches and remarks, etc.).
- Identify opportunities to leverage AtkinsRéalis’ various stakeholders in the media across Canada.
- Provide advice regarding positioning and speaking engagements, with a proactive and multichannel approach.
- Ability to use corporate reporting mechanisms and contribute to regular reporting on the impact of external communications.
- Ensure that practices, procedures, methodologies and tools are used effectively so that the objectives set out in the business plan are attained.
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, literature, marketing, or a related field.
- At least 6 to 9 years of relevant experience, preferably in a large multinational organization or a global public relations consulting agency.
- Experience providing guidance on best practices in external communications.
- Demonstrated experience in issues management.
- Demonstrated ability to think in a multi‑channel approach.
- Proven ability to explain complex subjects in simple language for multiple audiences.
- Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work with the media and a strong understanding of the international media landscape.
- Strong organizational and project‑management skills, with a proven ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Copilot in a corporate environment.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Two writing samples must be submitted with the application.
- Excellent writing skills in both French and English. *
- Member of the Canadian or Global Leadership Team: This position requires knowledge of a language other than French, namely English, as it involves collaboration with members of the Canadian or global leadership team located outside Québec.
