By joining our global team and learning from renowned subject matter experts, we can offer you a diverse career that could take you anywhere in the world.Lycopodium is currently recruiting for a Project Delivery Manager to join our growing Projects team in Mississauga, ON.This position reports to and supports the Senior Director of Projects and is primarily responsible for ensuring the professional, on-time, on-budget, on-specification and safe delivery of all projects.More accurately, the Project Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the Company's performance and delivery of each project in the execution phase of the project development lifecycle, primarily including Front End Engineering Design (FEED), Detailed Design or Engineering and Procurement (EP), Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) and Engineering, Procurement and Construction Management (EPCM). Studies including Scoping and Preliminary Economic Assessments (PEA), Pre-Feasibility Study (PFS) and Feasibility Study (FS) are the responsibilities of a separate Study Group within the Company and fall outside the role responsibilities.The tasks you'll perform
  • Ensure each and every project is delivered on-time, on-budget, on-specification and safely.
  • Maintain Client relationships during the projects to ensure maximum opportunities to secure repeat work.
  • Ensure the quality of output produced from direct reports including the site construction management teams to ensure activities are performed and deliverables are met to high-level of accuracy and in accordance with Project, Client and regulatory standards.
  • Ensure safety, environmental, community and industrial relations and quality procedures and plans adhered to on all projects and for all sites.
  • Work collaboratively with personnel across all business units.
The expertise you'll bring
  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
  • 15+years post graduate experience in Mineral Processing or related industries.
  • Demonstrable project management experience.
  • Gold and African project management experience is desirable.
  • P.Eng. designation in Ontario or equivalent in another Canadian province.
