The Compensation Manager will support the development, implementation, and maintenance of AMD’s global compensation programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with the company’s compensation philosophy and overall strategic objectives. Collaborating closely with HR team members and business leaders, this role plays a key part in ensuring pay programs attract and retain top talent, reinforce AMD’s values, and drive a high-performance culture.THE PERSON

A collaborative mindset, coupled with outstanding project management and communication skills, will ensure success in this role.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide compensation analysis, benchmarking, data modeling, reporting, and problem-solving to support AMD’s client groups.
- Partner with internal teams to provide expertise on compensation matters.
- Support the administration of merit, stock, and incentive planning processes, including system testing and data audits.
- Communicate compensation programs and train employees in related systems and processes.
- Collaborate with HR professionals to develop, assess, and lead compensation discussions, programs, and processes that support strategic objectives.
- Apply advanced compensation knowledge to address complex challenges and develop solutions.
- Participate in compensation surveys, perform job matching, and conduct ad-hoc benchmarking and market research.
- Research and analyze global market data, salary surveys, and compensation trends to develop innovative programs.
- Conduct complex data analysis, interpret results, present findings, and recommend changes.
- Build and document internal processes while recommending improvements to existing procedures.
- Extensive experience in a broad-based compensation role within a global workforce.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and strong quantitative analysis skills.
- Familiarity with SAP and experience using Radford salary surveys and tools.
- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) certification preferred.
- Solid understanding of statistical analysis is beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
