The position of fraud prevention advisor with the Desjardins Group Security Office involves more than working in a call centre. You actively help to protect thousands of members and clients, making a real, positive impact. As a fraud prevention advisor, you play a key role in preventing fraud by taking the necessary steps to detect and combat suspicious activities, while minimizing financial losses. You ensure member/client satisfaction and service quality in accordance with the organization’s standards and procedures. Interpersonal savvy is essential. More specifically, you will be required to:Collect, compile and analyze the type and nature of suspicious transactionsAdvise members and clients who are victims of fraud on preventive measuresEstablish an advisory relationship by identifying current and potential needsIdentify operational risks and continuously help improve the Desjardins Group Security Office’s activitiesAssist and support members and clients who are victims of various scams, ensuring they are satisfied with the support received and have an understanding of fraud.When you join our team, you’ll get *A competitive hourly rate starting at $25.76/hour plus a shift premium (where applicable)An annual performance-related bonus4 weeks of flexible vacation starting in the first yearDefined benefit pension plan that provides predictable, stable income throughout retirementGroup insurance, including telemedicineReimbursement of health and wellness expenses and telework equipment

What you bring to the tableGeneral college diploma in a related fieldA minimum of one year of relevant experiencePlease note that other combinations of qualifications and relevant experience may be consideredKnowledge of French is requiredAdvanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clientsAvailable to come to the office occasionally during training and once a month afterwards.
