- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure timely delivery of Shopper Marketing campaigns and plans.
- Ensure the accuracy of deliverables, including client-facing documents, budget stewardship, and billing.
- Proactively manage client expectations, ensuring clear and effective communication.
- Prepare and deliver tailored client presentations based on the audience, from senior executives to junior team members.
- Developing strong relationships with Retail Media Network key stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Oversee day-to-day relationships with media partners and support the Director in negotiations for commerce media programs.
- Recommend and leverage innovative media vehicles, including Retail Media Networks (RMNs), to drive impactful results.
- Define shopper program objectives and strategies that align with brand marketing goals and client business priorities.
- Develop and implement shopper marketing plans informed by industry trends and market insights.
- Work with the internal cross-functional team (Planning, Director) and external (Client Shopper teams) to develop optimal and actionable strategies, concepts and tactics
- Craft and execute go-to-market strategies, integrating Shopper Marketing with digital retail media tactics for holistic performance.
- Analyze learnings from past campaigns and apply them to future initiatives.
- Monitor and share trends in shopper marketing and retail media to identify opportunities for innovation and growth.
- Support the development, presentation, management, and measurement of commerce media programs.
- Ensure strategic consistency across all elements of plan development and implementation.
- Support building connectivity between shopper marketing and digital retail media tactics to drive holistic performance.
- Managing project status and budget communication with client teams and obtaining approvals
- Managing Shopper program timelines, approval processes, and program synergy.
- Ensure accurate stewardship and management of budgets, including alignment with client billing processes.
- Support the buying process and ensure stewardship for media programs.
- Develop and manage project timelines and budgets.
- Manage communication of project status and budget to client teams.
- Measure media performance throughout all campaign stages to ensure objectives and strategies meet or exceed client expectations.
- Engage on the selection and deployment of innovative media vehicles in line with media strategies.
- Measure post-promotion or post-campaign results using client and retailer-provided data and provide actionable insights to optimize future efforts.
- Deliver comprehensive performance analyses, ensuring campaigns align with set objectives and strategies.
- Strong project management experience in Commerce, Shopper Marketing, and/or Retail Media.
- Proven experience working with omni-channel Retail Media Networks; familiarity with Advanced Media and Walmart Connect media is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in an advertising agency, in CPG, or within a commerce media environment is strongly preferred.
- Understanding of broader media planning and buying, with the ability to ensure seamless integration with wider media objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and analyze data to shape go-to-market strategies and optimize performance.
- Experience working across multiple client accounts and diverse business categories.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly to diverse client audiences.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment while fostering cross-team communication and collaboration across functions.
- Strong enthusiasm for retail media, commerce strategy, data-driven marketing, emerging media, and innovative technology solutions.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
