We are seeking a dynamic and driven Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on B2B sales within the automotive aftermarket and manufacturing sectors. This role requires a highly motivated individual ready to take on extensive travel across Canada, with a base of operations within one hour of Toronto Pearson Airport. - Plan and execute sales trips across Canada, aiming for customer visits that facilitate cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Develop and manage strong relationships with key customer accounts, tailoring solutions to meet their specific needs.
- Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance revenue through upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets, aligning service offerings with customer requirements.
- Create and implement strategic account plans to promote customer success and drive business growth.
- Regularly monitor, track, and report on account statuses, sales results, and customer key performance indicators to sales leadership.
- 5-7 years of experience in B2B sales, particularly within the automotive aftermarket or manufacturing sales sectors.
- A technical education or experience is highly recommended, including fields like Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Proven track record in account management, customer satisfaction, and technical sales roles.
- Strong ability to travel extensively (75% of the time) across Canada, including regular overnight hotel stays.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-first mindset and a focus on solving customer challenges.
- Technical fluency to discuss equipment functionality, software, and service offerings.
- Previous exposure to fabrication, sheet metal, or CNC machine tool industries is a plus.
A base salary of $70,000 per annum with uncapped commissions (projected additional earnings of $25k-$35k in the first year).
