- Plan and conduct clinical trial patient visits every 2 weeks
- Travel to patient homes, physician offices, and healthcare centers to educate patients on TTFields therapy and initiate treatment in accordance with product labeling
- Provide ongoing enhanced training and individualized coaching to patients and caregivers to support therapy integration into daily routines and achievement of usage goals
- Perform technical analysis, troubleshooting, equipment maintenance, and device replacement as needed
- Collect and analyze patient data during follow-up visits and provide tailored support and resources
- Conduct virtual visits as appropriate to ensure accessibility and flexibility for patients
- Provide timely phone, virtual, and in-person support-sometimes on short notice or outside normal business hours, including weekends and holidays
- Manage responsibilities independently within your designated territory, demonstrating ownership and strong time management
- Maintain open communication with your manager and cross-functional partners to ensure coordinated patient care and healthcare provider support
- Attend Site Initiation Visits (SIVs) to present the role of the Device Support Specialist
- Serve as the technical interface between Novocure, patients, and assigned medical centers
- Complete documentation in CRM systems, manage expenses, oversee equipment inventory, and maintain compliance with training and regulatory requirements
- Travel regularly by vehicle and air (up to 80%) to support patient care and service needs
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical or patient-facing role in Canada (e.g., medical assistant, nurse, occupational therapist, or similar)
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel approximately 80% of the time, including overnight stays and commercial air travel
- Primary residence within the assigned territory (Toronto) with space to securely store patient support materials in a safe, temperature-controlled environment
- Proficiency in basic computer operations including Microsoft Office, Outlook, file management, and troubleshooting procedures
- English language proficiency (required)
- Experience working with oncology patients
- Experience in a for-profit environment
- Bilingual in English and French
- Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and situational awareness
- Experience with CRM systems, Concur, or SAP
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and business needs
