Your place in our storyThe Marketing Specialist is responsible for creating, coordinating and promoting marketing, advertising, and communication-related activities for Minto's GTA homebuilding operations.What you'll be responsible for:
  • Support in the development of marketing assets for projects (brochures, signage, renderings, videos, ads), ensuring that information is accurate and ready on time for launch
  • Ensure marketing assets (price lists, floorplans, incentives) are accurate/updated in a timely manner on websites/portals
  • Coordinate and execute marketing campaigns, working with agency partners
  • Create and deploy email campaigns
  • Write copy for website articles, construction updates, and monthly newsletters
  • Create and/or oversee day to day social content creation and posting along with external agency
  • Support with sales offices and model homes setup and ongoing marketing needs
  • Assist in planning and execution of product launches, sales events and community events
  • Liaise with external vendors including agencies, architects, designers etc.
  • Keep track of Marketing related invoices, create POs, send for payment in a timely manner and coordinate payment status with vendors when needed
  • Support other departments with various Marketing needs (presentations, emails, etc.)
  • Other duties within the scope, spirit, and purpose of the job, as requested by management.

  • A relevant post-secondary education.
  • A minimum of two to four years of work experience in a busy marketing environment is required.
  • Super organized and detail-focused
  • Team player and eager to learn
  • Proficient communicator (written, verbal, and listening skills).
  • Experience writing effective advertising, website and email copy.
  • Social media content development and management experience
  • Strong project management and time management skills
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint & Outlook)
  • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop/InDesign and Canva
  • Experience with email marketing and/or marketing automation platforms
  • Real estate / developer experience an asset
