As a General Helper, you'll play a key role in the maintenance and organization of our yard and warehouse. Through your commitment and work ethic, you'll ensure safe, clean, and efficient operations while participating in a variety of essential tasks.Your role:
  • Keep the yard clean and safe by picking up packaging, securing lumber piles and cleaning up debris
  • Assist with warehouse maintenance, including product packaging, restocking and cleaning
  • Support delivery teams as a driver's helper and assist with after-sales service tasks on job sites
  • Help with lumber cutting and product stacking as required (depending on region)
  • Assisting Customers in the yard with their requirements
  • Other duties as requested by the manager
What we're looking for:
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a readiness to learn
  • Physically fit, able to lift and carry heavy products, and work in various weather conditions
  • Knowledge on Lumber and sales experience would be an asset
