Support a national valuations team with market research and valuation of agricultural assets. You’ll work closely with internal partners in the Operations division to mitigate credit risk.What you’ll do:
- Research the local marketplace
- Appraise agricultural assets for collateral
- Review internal appraisals
- May travel to FCC offices in your region
- Occasionally perform site inspections
- Coach and help train Operations colleagues
- Contribute market analysis and appraisal expertise to the annual FCC Farmland Values Report
- Strong communicator who can adjust to different audiences and actively contribute to a geographically dispersed team
- Analytical thinker able to make reasoned decisions using limited market data
- Relationship-builder and partner who cultivates mutual respect
- Effective teacher and coach
- Multi-tasker who pays attention to quality and consistency
- Team player who can support and sustain ongoing change
- A diploma or a degree in business or agriculture and at least three years of experience (or an equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Knowledge of appraisal practices and agriculture industry trends
- Demonstrated research ability
- A passion for agriculture
