This role requires an experienced leader with a strong background in excavation and underground infrastructure work, who can manage crews, oversee field operations, and ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.Pay Rate: $100k/year.Location: Vaughan, ONJob sites may be located anywhere within a 1.5-hour drive from Toronto. A company vehicle will be provided.Job type: Permanent | Full-timeResponsibilities:Lead and manage all on-site project activities, from excavation to completion.Coordinate field reviews and inspections, ensuring projects adhere to timelines, budgets, and safety protocols.Oversee site-specific needs such as materials, licenses, equipment, and permits.Enforce compliance with OHSA, local regulations, and company safety policies.Conduct field measurements and ensure work quality meets contractual standards.Maintain site documentation: notes, photographs, incident reports, and daily logs.Liaise between field crews and contract administration, ensuring seamless communication.Identify and escalate any out-of-scope work or jobsite issues to management.Monitor field log entries, approve hours worked, and manage labour budgets.Oversee snow routes during winter months (overnight work may be required).Requirements:Legal eligibility to work and reside in Canada.A diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience.At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role within the construction industry.Prior experience with excavation and sewer/watermain projects is highly preferred.Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with Bid2Win (B2W) is considered an asset.Strong leadership, communication, and time management abilities.Capable of working effectively both independently and as part of a team.Must hold a valid G-class driver's license in Ontario.Don't miss out on this Site Manager position in Vaughan, ON.
