Located near our Design Center, the facility plays an important role in how we prototype, test, refine and manufacture the technical gear we are known for.Some of our most technically complex products including Alpha SV and new product pilots are built here. The facility also supports ReBIRD repair and renewal programs, helping extend the life of Arc'teryx gear.This is hands-on, precision work where craftsmanship, problem-solving and continuous improvement come together on the production floor. This isMeet Your Future Team:The Manufacturing Quality Control team ensures that all product manufactured at ARC'One meets the quality standards and expectations of Arc'teryx. Our core duty is to ensure a positive customer experience and uphold the integrity of the brand.\nIf you were our Supervisor, Manufacturing Quality Control, here are some of the core activities you would be doingYou manage quality systems in raw materials/receiving, cutting and bundling, and production areasYou lead and develop the Production inline and final QC team to ensure effective growth of the teamYou motivate and guide the quality team using effective communication, training, and team building skillsYou develop and implement Quality training programs to ensure Arc'teryx quality standards are efficiently upheldYou oversee non-conformances and ensure completion of root cause analysis of quality issues through collaboration with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to result in effective implementation of corrective and preventive actionsYou seek opportunities for improvement and drive standardization of quality and productionYou analyze KPIs to identify key areas of opportunity and celebrationYou utilize data to communicate prioritization to internal and external teamsYou support New Product Introduction and develop and implement robust changeover processesYou collaborate with subject matter experts to create inspection plans for new and existing finished goods and raw materialsYou assess product quality challenges and collaborate with appropriate collaborators to problem solve and define next stepsYou work closely with the Acceptable Quality Level (AQL) Finished Goods Inspection team to build training and alignment of standards across brand quality teamsHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Developing internal Quality training programsDeveloping non-conformance escalation proceduresDefining inspection plans and processesAre you our next Manufacturing Quality Control Supervisor?You have 3+ years' experience in manufacturing and quality with experience in a leadership roleYou have 2+ years' experience developing and/or executing quality management systemsYou are a motivated problem solver and have a thorough understanding of RCA and CAPA methodsYou are experienced in interpreting and analyzing data to communicate and drive decisionsYou have knowledge of apparel production systems as well as quality management systemsYou have experience working with PowerBI, Smartsheets, and Microsoft ExcelLean Six Sigma Green Belt is idealYou have strong leadership and team building skillsYou have strong verbal and written communication skillsYou are detail oriented and ask the right questionsYou have ability to tactfully manage multiple interests and prioritiesYou remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguityYou effectively balance autonomy and collaborationYou seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is rightYou have fluency in a second languageYour passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living itYou have interest of involvement in activities that we make products for\n$71,000 - $89,000 a yearA reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$71,000 - CAD$89,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
