Department: ReBIRDReports to: Supervisor, Repair QualityYour opportunity at ARC'TERYX:ARC'One, our manufacturing facility in New Westminster, is home to a team of skilled makers and technicians who bring Arc'teryx products to life. Located near our Design Center, the facility plays an important role in how we prototype, test, refine and manufacture the technical gear we are known for. Some of our most technically complex products including Alpha SV and new product pilots are built here. The facility also supports ReBIRD repair and renewal programs, helping extend the life of Arc'teryx gear.This is hands-on, precision work where craftsmanship, problem-solving and continuous improvement come together on the production floor. This isAs a Quality Control Inspector, your main duty is to ensure Arc'teryx brand integrity by performing quality control inspection on the products and/or raw materials used and produced at the Arc'teryx owned manufacturing facility (ARC'One). Your main duties are to perform in-line quality inspections, water leakage test, material inspections and to collaborate within the quality and repair teams to troubleshoot quality issues.Meet Your Future Team:The ReBird Quality Control team ensures that all product manufactured or repaired at ARC'One meets the quality standards and expectations of Arc'teryx. Our core duty is to ensure a positive customer experience and uphold the integrity of the brand. \nIf you were our Quality Control Inspector, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:You become familiar with Arc'teryx product specifications, including samples, testing methods, and Arc'teryx Quality Control manual and learn how to apply them to an inspectionYou perform water leakage test in the production line you are assignedYou perform quality control inspection on a wide array of products including waterproof and non-waterproof garments, harnesses, technical packs, and more according to our Company repair standardsYou efficiently perform quality inspections to meet daily production targetsYou record inspection results and complete all documentations in a timely mannerYou notify appropriate supervisors if/when any discrepancies are found between Repair Standards and production resultsYou work with the ReBIRD team to resolve quality issuesYou participate in projects and other tasks as assigned, including but not limited to 6S and other housekeepingHere are some of the things you could be working on in the future:Contribute to the growth of ReBIRD by participating in creating or reiterating Repair StandardsTaking charge to lead by example and encourage the ReBird Quality team to higher levels of efficiency, productivity, and quality.You have basic knowledge of a spoken second languageYou have knowledge of Arc'teryx's unique productsYour passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living it\n$21 - $23 an hourThe starting pay for distribution workers is CAD $21.00 hourly at the time of this posting, with a reasonable estimated pay range of CAD$21.00- $23.00 within 12 months upon skill assessment.Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer. \nEqual OpportunityArc'teryx is committed to actively creating and fostering a culture of inclusivity where voices are heard, people are seen, and values are respected.
