We come from all over the world and together, we’re building something pretty special.We’re currently hiring for a Class I in town Driver for our Edmonton Shipping department. In this role, you’ll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and get a little bit better each and every day, with the support of a team that always has your back. There’s more to any job than words on a page, but the focus of this role is to deliver our product withing the Edmonton area and surrounding cities and will provide above average customer service. On any given day, the Class 1 in town Driver is responsible for:

Ensure smooth flow of products across our manufacturing facilities.
Safely deliver products to customers, maintaining the safety of yourself, other drivers, and the public.
Maneuver vehicle safely on the roads and on-site so as not to cause damage
Follow established SOPs to determine the most efficient routes, taking weather conditions into account
Comply with all Federal traffic laws, road etiquette, and All Weather Group policies and procedures while operating vehicle and on customer sites
Maintain the vehicle in good working condition, including pre trip inspections, logging inspection results, and immediately reporting any maintenance needs or damage to the Fleet Supervisor.
Complete the field level hazard assessment forms for each site
Safely unload products on-site in accordance with All Weather Group policies and procedures and customer satisfaction expectations.
Ensure all delivery paperwork is complete, accurate and properly documented.
Communicate professionally with the customers, maintaining positive relationships
Listen to customers’ inquiries, feedback, and concerns, escalating to a Supervisor when required to resolve issues efficiently.

The starting hourly rate for this position is $27 - $29/ hour.Are you built for this?We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. Here’s who and what we’re looking for.

Valid Class 1 license
2-3 years’ related driving experience, including driving and maneuvering vehicles, backing up to load and unload product and defensive driving techniques
Must be able to perform heavy lifting of 100 lbs
Experience with loading/unloading product.
Experience operating similar heavy equipment and an understanding of hydraulics is an asset
Must have solid customer service skills
Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Testing
Must pass pre-employment Physical Testing
Must be willing to provide a satisfactory Drivers Abstract
Must be able to pass pre-employment drivers test
