Job DescriptionWHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?RBC Finance IT team supports the RBC Enterprise Finance Business across the globe, as well as Finance Change Management Group by delivering projects and programs related to various regulatory, reporting, strategic and other operational business goals and requirements.As a Project Manager for the CNB Portfolio of projects, you will lead and oversee activities on planning, delivery, reporting, and tracking of project milestones to ensure objectives are accomplished within approved time frames and scope.WHAT WILL YOU DO?
  • Plan and manage execution of assigned projects, including scope negotiation, initiative ownership, milestones accomplishment and timelines management.
  • Leads activities on planning, delivery, and implementation to ensure enterprise-wide strategic goals and objectives are accomplished within approved time frames, scope, and budget.
  • Support the design and monitoring of the initiative’s goals. Translates the vision into high level scope, design, and executables.
  • Ensure delivery of solutions and services meet requirements, including internal security standards
  • Establishes a process for the identification of issues. Resolves complex issues and escalates to executive/steering committee and manages resolution as required.
  • Manages program level communications including status reports to executive stakeholders.
  • Provides senior management with timely updates on operational program risks & issues.
  • Establish strong working relationships across technical/business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?Must have:
  • Superior organizational, project management and time management capabilities.
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and effective strategic problem-solving, and facilitation skills.
  • Self-driven and proactive; able to meet consistently high-quality standards with simultaneous workstreams.
  • Ability to articulate complex issues concisely and communicate effectively and comfortably with all levels of management
  • Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
Nice-to-have:
  • Professional Certifications including PMP/PGMP.
  • Good knowledge of Financial Capital Markets and associated products
  • Knowledge and experience of compliance and regulatory environments
