Our client, a leading logistic organization in the industry, is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to join their team. As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be part of the HR department supporting HR Business Partners across various locations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills, adaptability, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.Job Title: Human Resources CoordinatorLocation: Ottawa, ONPay Range: $27.55Schedule: Full-time | 4-month contractWhat's the Job?
  • Support HR Business Partners by assisting in the creation and maintenance of administrative systems, including monthly reports and employee files.
  • Provide SAP/ERP support to streamline HR functions and improve operational efficiency.
  • Assist with benefits administration and communication to ensure employees are well-informed and supported.
  • Liaise with internal departments such as Operations, Payroll, Benefits, and Pensions to facilitate smooth HR processes.
  • Participate in recruitment and selection activities, contributing to hiring the best talent for the organization.
What's Needed?
  • Post-secondary HR-related Degree, Diploma, Certificate, or equivalent HR-related experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey HR initiatives, policies, and procedures.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with SAP/ERP systems is an asset.
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment is beneficial but not mandatory.
