
Azure Sales Specialist

- Will be the apart of the Azure team with individual responsibilities for growing the Azure practice.
- Overseeing the pipeline and developing strategic business plans in collaboration with partners to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Responsible for onboarding new partners.
- Sells Azure solutions via telephone or electronic means for an assigned territory, industry, or accounts.
- May generate prospective customers and may qualify and follow up with sales leads.
- Focus on lead qualification and lead prospecting.
- Sales are driven through a combination of multichannel strategies, including inbound and outbound activities, as well as collaborative co-selling efforts.
- Will be responsible for large, diverse territories and/or products.
- Keeps up-to-date knowledge of the industry, as well as the competitive posture of the company, and prepares activity and forecast reports as requested.
- May establish and maintain relationships with channel partners.
- Focuses on acquiring new customers and retaining and growing an existing installed base of customers.
- Support back-end activities such as order processing, quotation generation, delivery follow up etc.
- Approximately 10% travel, primarily within the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
- College Diploma or Degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field).
- Minimum 3 years of business development experience or account management experience selling Azure would be desirable.
- IAAS experience is desired.
- AZ-900 Microsoft Azure Fundamentals Certification is a strong asset.
- Demonstrates adaptability, ability to prioritize, strong relationship-building experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and a strong comfort with technology.
- Strong MS Office suite experience.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Possesses a keen eye for details while maintaining a strong focus on driving sales results.
- Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
