We support Pason’s unique culture and values through recruitment, payroll, benefits, compensation, training and development, and employee relations.The RoleThis individual will be responsible for managing and administering all compensation programs, the overall compensation process, and providing guidance to all Pason and subsidiary companies on compensation related matters. This position will also be responsible for all immigration matters along with some reporting and other HR duties as required.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesCompensationLead the year end compensation process and total rewards program, including base pay, discretionary bonus program, and long-term incentive plans.Develop, recommend, and implement compensation programs by gathering market intelligence, reviewing internal equity, performing statistical analysis, and creating data modeling scenarios.Manage and administer all compensation programs and ensure compensation recommendations are aligned with Pason’s total rewards philosophy.Identify market trends and assess impacts on current programs and roles and make recommendations based on internal and external analysis.Provide education on total rewards programs for managers and employees.Research, evaluate and recommend appropriate benchmarking and compensation packages for new employees or internal transfers/promotions.Develop compensation reports and analytics.Perform job evaluations with salary surveys as required.Complete market surveys, update and evaluate the results to assess competitive positions on base pay, total cash, and total rewards.Project Management and OtherLead or participate in HR-related projects, including system updates, , process improvement, and other projects as required.Manage project timelines, resources, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Work with key stakeholders within the organization on projects and initiatives.Manage the immigration process for all applicable employees and work closely with outsource immigration consultants as required.Point person for global mobility activities through document management and tracking with respect to applications, legal documents and other mobility documentsOversee and administer some vendors and system contracts within HR such as employee recognition, compensation data, and engagement programs.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesStrong knowledge of compensation practices for both office, field-based, and manufacturing positionsStrong attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy is criticalKnowledge and understanding of data management systems and analysis reportingExpert-level user with MS Excel (strong pivot table, v-lookup, and index match experience)Ability to exercise critical thinking and problem-solving skills in managing complex situationsCapacity to handle high pressure situations and tight deadlinesStrong organizational and time-management skillsCapacity to maintain confidentialityExperience with an HRIS (experience with UKG would be an asset)Experience with Cognos BI would be an assetPrevious experience working with international compensation programs would be beneficialQualificationsExperience5 years of experience with compensation programs5 years of experience of working HR knowledge5 years of experience working with an HRISEducationPost-secondary degree or diploma in Commerce, Business Administration or Human ResourcesCertified Compensation Professional designation would be an asset#INDCA
