- Responsible for setting, planning and leading implementation of Store Operations Technology & Automation strategies spanning 12 months; manages cross-departmental/regional teams to successfully implement short and longer term technology improvement projects
- Leads the development and implementation of comprehensive project plans for large concurrent projects with all functional business areas, including setting milestones, identifying required resources, establishing interdependencies & cross functional timelines, to ensure project objectives are delivered on-time, within budget while maintaining minimal disruption to the business
- Accountable for identifying project roadblocks and issues and partnering with Business Leaders and subject matter experts to develop solutions and mitigate risks, escalating to business leads, project teams, when required, to ensure project goals are met
- Accountable for change management including the planning and execution of change programs, completion of documentation around technology changes in partnership with other teams including Global IT Change Management where needed
- Leads a team, providing direction and guidance on department activities; reviews performance, provides continuous feedback, mentors and trains team members and is a resource to answer questions and discuss best practices
- Minimum five (5) years of professional experience in large organization and or Retail Operations with progressive people management or leadership experience preferred
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to provide solutions; ability to leverage prior experience and adapt quickly to the changing work environment to make effective decisions, revise business strategies to support the vision of the organization
- Solid project management skills including structured project methodologies (i.e. determining needs, researching existing programs, etc.); utilizing multiple sources of information to develop well-structured business recommendations preparing and maintaining detailed development plans for projects; determining project specifications; understanding and applying principles of project control; and knowledge of and ability to use project reporting systems
- Excellent computer skills including word-processing applications, advanced spreadsheet (MS Excel,), ERP G/L package, preferably Oracle; procurement/payment applications; databases; and data manipulation tools
