On behalf of our Valued Client, Ignite Technical Resources is recruiting for a Team Lead, Customer and Product Training to join our Client's team on a Permanent basis. This role is Hybrid - 2 days per week onsite and the Client is based in Burnaby, BC.Summary of the RoleThis role is responsible for defining, building, and delivering scalable product training programs for both external customers and internal go-to-market and delivery teams. The successful candidate will lead the evolution of the organization's customer learning initiatives, modernizing and expanding product education to support adoption, customer success, and revenue growth. This position requires a hands-on leader who can design eLearning programs, deliver technical classroom training, and establish structured onboarding and certification pathways aligned with product releases and deployment practices.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deliver end-to-end product training programs, including onboarding, advanced training, and certification pathways
  • Build scalable eLearning modules and instructor-led training for customers and internal teams
  • Align training content with product updates, deployment standards, and operational processes
  • Establish and refine curriculum frameworks using adult learning best practices
  • Evaluate training effectiveness through feedback, metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Sales, Customer Success, Support, and Implementation
  • Lead the evolution of internal and external training programs to improve product readiness and adoption
  • Deliver on-site and virtual training sessions for customers and internal stakeholders
  • Contribute to long-term strategy for customer enablement and product education programs
Core Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience developing and delivering training programs within a technical or software-driven industry
  • Proven experience managing end-to-end training programs, including curriculum development, delivery, and evaluation
  • Hands-on experience building eLearning content and delivering instructor-led technical training
  • Experience working with customer onboarding, product enablement, or customer success programs
  • Ability to translate technical product concepts into structured learning materials
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Post-secondary education in Education, Instructional Design, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience within utilities, AMI/AMR, RF/wireless communications, telemetry, or large communications systems
  • Experience developing certification programs or structured learning pathways
  • Familiarity with web-based product interfaces and SaaS-style environments
  • Experience using feedback and performance metrics to iterate and improve training programs
TermsThis is a permanent, full-time position based in Burnaby, BC. The role follows a hybrid work arrangement, requiring onsite presence two days per week. Travel is required approximately one week per month,including occasional travel to deliver on-site training and collaborate with internal business units (primarily within the United States, as well as the Caribbean and Canada). A valid passport is required. The compensation package includes three weeks of vacation, extended health benefits, and equity participation.
