This role reports to the Corporate Controller.Responsibilities:Assist with month-end close and prepare financial reporting packagesPrepare and review journal entries and balance sheet reconciliationsOversee Accounts Payable department, cash flow, and disbursementsAssist with the preparation of divisional financial reports and analysisSupport year-end audit and tax compliance (Canada and U.S.)Identify and implement process improvementsManage and develop a team of 3 direct reportsHandle other ad hoc projects as neededQualifications:CPA designation (or near completion)3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in distribution or retailStrong technical accounting knowledge is a mustProven leadership and team management experienceProficient in month-end close, reporting, and reconciliationsAdvanced Excel and ERP system experienceHands-on, Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
